Rustins Wood Dye uses micro fine pigments and binders, dispersed in hydrocarbon solvent. For application to all types of new bare wood or that has been stripped. Suitable for interior and exterior use. The dye must be over-coated/sealed.

Coverage: 24m² per litre per coat, depending on the absorbency of the wood.

Drying times: 3-4 hours under good conditions, but will depend on ambient temperature, humidity and the absorbency of the wood.

Recoatable: 6-8 hours typically, but preferably overnight if applying acrylic water-based varnishes.
